Windows 10: I cannot open windows start, Action center. Other icons in taskbar working very well.

I yesterday got a problem with windows store. finally, it was fixed. Then this happened.This is my about.

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.

 

Action Center Icon On Taskbar Not Working


Hi Brink,
Rather than do a clean install..and have to re-install software..etc., I just disabled the action center icon on the taskbar for now. Even when it turned solid white as if to announce that I had new notification's...when I clicked on it nothing happened. On my 'main' computer the action center works correctly.
