I cannot open word, excel or any other Microsoft app and am getting placed into a temporary user account.I need to use WORD and am not able. Message reads: sorry, something went wrong, and word was unable to start error 16.0I need help getting my original profile back and all my files. that I do not know where they are or what happen.please how to I submit request for a ticket, so IT could assist me.

I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.

 

Unable to open Excel or Word

I am unable to open a specific Excel File or Excel or Word at all. It shows and error message (-2147163890). Any suggestions

I am working in Windows 10 home version 1909.
Can not afford an upgrade.
My Office files are old, dont know what version.
Cant remember how I updated this laptop to Windows 10 months ago.
PROBLEM:
I can not open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
I looked for my Windows old file as suggested, and it IS gone.
Haveing a small breakdown, will step away and return in a few...ANY DIRECTIONS AND ANSWERS WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!! PLEASE WRITE THEM IN STEP BY STEP FORMAT. Thankyooouuuuuuuu!
