    I cannot reach my .bat type locked folder


    Hi everyone,2 months ago I locked a folder in my external hard drive using the code below via a .bat file. Now, when I unlock the folder it seems to be empty. I checked on the storage details of the disk and it remains the same. Therefore I believe these files are not deleted but not visible either. Could you help me to reach back to my files again?     Folder locked and dissapeared after unlock

    Well here's something i found on this:

    But it doesn't work here , i don't have that folder.

    Can somebody help me searching for a solution , tnx.

    EDIT:

    I did that and that's when the folder just disappeared but the data is still there, the program is very confusing about restoring files , it says that "files should become unlocked automatically" ... so where the heck are manual unlocking instructions.

    It's not an encrypt , it's just a password lock , so data is all open. The problem is, i would get like 225 GB of individual files off the HDD recovery , i just want the harder way of accessing the folder but getting the folder structure , where can i find the time to SORT 220 GB of data omg.

    Did you download and run Brink's .bat file in Step 1 ? Lacking that, look at the screens in post 3. In Step 5 'folders of this type' defaults to each of the Windows templates for Pictures, Music, etc. If you want ALL folders to have the same List view, r-click any folder in each of the 5 folders under This PC (Desktop does not apply) and hit 'Customize this folder'. Set to 'Optimize this folder for General Items". Then follow the screen in post 3 using List instead of Details in Step 1 and you should be good to go.

    Is there a free Folder Lock?

    I know that windows has feature that can make your folders invisible but it dont lock right?

    I am seeking a program that lock folder and make it invisible but free. is there exist? or only the pay ones?
