Windows 10: I cannot reinstall microsoft store

So it would take a very long time to find app license something like that and apps wouldnt download so I decided to reinstall Microsoft store, I used windows powershell to delete the store and used a command to reinstall it but all it says is Deployment operation progress: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_22207.1401.9.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppXManifest.xml Initialized And it doesn't ever get a single o to tell me it is installing help. This is the command I used to install it: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore*

App store and Microsoft account

You need Gmail account to access play store likewise you need Microsoft account to access Microsoft Account. Though there is some work around but i would suggest you to Change your Password to something much less complicated but Strong.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Microsoft Store

Hi James,

To resolve your concern about Windows Store, we suggest for you to follow these steps:

Press Windows key + R key to open Run.

Type wsreset.exe and press
Enter.

Restart the PC, sign in with your Microsoft user account and check if you are able to find Windows Store.

Let us know how it goes.

reinstall store app windows 10

The following command reinstalls all apps in Windows:

Open Start Menu and type powershell.right-click on PowerShell and select "Run as Administrator" option.

Then Enter the following command that will reinstall all the modern apps in Windows :

Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

Did not work for me. I troed it 3 times, allways got an error.
