    I cannot reset my windows pin and use my PC because I’ve lost access to a Google recovery...


    Extra infoAfter updating the bios windows is asking me to reset my pin but as part of the process it’s asking for another code sent to an old Google recovery account that I can’t get into. What’s so frustrating is I have my Microsoft account password but that isn’t enough anymore apparently.I’ve clicked on the update security settings thing but nothing will change for 30 days! This is my work computer I’m locked out of… Thanks for any help.. iWill reinstalling windows help?

    I can not reset my google password

    Two step works for me if your phone info is the same as it was you should be able to recover it.

    How to pin Google Chrome backk to Taskbar after reset on Windows 10?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

    I understand that you are referring to Google Chrome from Taskbar after reset on your computer.

    Do let us know the following to assist you better:

    • How have you performed reset on your computer?
    • Were you able to find Google Chrome in Start menu under All apps?
    • Is this issue confined only with Google Chrome?

    Please be informed when you perform Reset on your computer by selecting Keep my files, all the applications and updates installed on your computer will be removed you will have to download reinstall all those.

    Step 1: If you are able find the Google Chrome
    in Start menu under All apps, right-click on
    Google Chrome    , click on More and on Pin to Taskbar.

    Step 2: If reset has uninstalled the application, try to download Google Chrome from the below link using Internet Explorer

    Google Chrome - The Fast & Secure Web Browser Built to be Yours

    Later follow Step 1 to pin it to Taskbar

    File Explorer Quick Access trouble.. Cannot pin items

    File Explorer is behaving weird - I cannot pin items to Quick Access. When I pin items they won't appear to QA. Also when dragging items to QA nothing happens and there's a small icon indicating that is not possible.

    I did some "tweaks" with Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4.5 but I haven't found a setting there that could of made QA to not function.

    I did some steps as remedy that I found with Google but those didn't help.

    Any suggestions?
