Windows 10: I cannot restart my computer after downloading a new update to Windows 10.

Today, when turning off my computer to go to dinner, I was notified that a Windows update was ready to be downloaded so I selected "update and then turn off the computer". When I came back after dinner, the computer would not start and displayed a blue screen. I noticed that a message was shown that stated that if I talked to a support person that I should inform them of the following phrase. Stop Code: System License violation. I have looked up this issue and have , following Microsoft directions on the internet, tried to enter the safe mode in order to delete the offending update. (The computer has tried automatic repair a number of times without success.) It looks like I need to get rid of the newest update, but I cannot even enter the safe mode to do that. What should I do?

Windows 10 forced download

I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.
