Windows 10: I cannot update my single language license with multi language license key

Hello, I bought a ROG Ally X from China. Since it does not have multi display language option, I couldnt change it. Therefor I bought a new key from Microsoft with multiple language option. When I try to update my license in the settings System -> Activation -> Change product key, it does not register and gives 0xc004f050 error. What can I do about it? It feels like Chinese keyboard settings are not understanding the key.

Yes, you didn't make it up, Microsoft makes that up because they want people to buy new licenses.

I was informed that a new USB could be created, with a single language license, as a different language and installed from scratch.

The two english/multi language ones are OEM, the one was for THIS device, but again, i have no access to it, i swapped out the SSD as the laptop only has one slot unless i buy a bracket.

 

Change Language - Single Language License

I don't have Windows 10 version number. I have a machine which shows two languages in the preferred language list. Spanish - Mexican and English Canada. English Canada is at top of list. In the drop down for Windows Display language it only has Mexican. The drop down arrow head is there but no options below. This is one of those licenses that says your license only supports one language. How might I change this to be only English and eliminate the Spanish - Mexican? I read a number of Internet articles and they seem to be very mixed results. If a clean install is a sure thing I can propose that to the owner. Any help would be appreciated.

I was wondering if there was a way i could go about changing the language on my Windows single language? I bought it in Japan, i know a fair bit of Japanese but still having an English license would be convenient...

I bought a cheap pro upgrade license key online on G2A and it won't let me activate... don't wanna waste more money on that. Is there any way around it? It's pretty ridiclous that "single language" licenses are even a thing...
