Windows 10: I cannot update or download anything relating to microsoft

It is as the title says. I can't download anything from Microsoft on the store, I can't download the Japanese Handwriting and Basic Typing which seems to be a really common issue, I can't even update the computer. Everything is stuck in updates that aren't progressing.Downloading things from the internet works absolutely fine and is quick. The problem is NOT my internet.I can't even provide any screenshots here because that doesn't work either. Literally anything to do with Microsoft on this computer is cursed and does not work.I can't troubleshoot, that's also stuck, by the way.

Installing update after downloading it through Microsoft Update Catalog

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

There is no need to install update separately it will be automatically installed when you download the update, I suggest you to go to Control panel and check whether the update is installed are not.

Follow the steps to check for Update.

• 
  Open Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Click on View installed updates.
  
• 
  Check for the Update in the list.

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

You cannot download the update, you need to update through windows update only

If you have any issue with windows update follow the steps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Internet connection.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Update troubleshooter
