Windows 10: I cannot use internet while hotspot enabled

Hello,I have a desktop PC which has ethernet connection. I use hotspot on that PC to share the internet to my phone and laptop. 2 weeks ago I bought a new laptop and I connected to internet over hotspot while installing windows 11 on that laptop. During the installation I lost my connectivity on desktop pc but laptop still had connection. Hotspot was running smoothly when I connect my phone or win10 installed old laptop to it before that event but after that I cannot use internet on desktop pc. Whenever I connect any of my devices phone, laptop etc. to hotspot, my desktop pc that has etherne

How to enable Mobile hotspot in Windows 10?

Mobile hotspot can be found under Network & Internet settings. To enable the "Mobile hotspot" option in a Windows 10 computer, you may follow these steps:

• 
  Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot.
  
• 
  For Share my Internet connection from, choose the Internet connection you want to share.
  
• 
  Select Edit > enter a new network name and password > Save.
  
• 
  Turn on Share my Internet connection with other devices.
  
• 
  To connect on the other device, go to the Wi-Fi settings on that device, find your network name, select it, enter the password, and then connect.

Hotspot internet using Bluetooth

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, we would need some information.

1. Are you trying to create a hotspot through Bluetooth on your PC?
   
2. What is the version and
   build
   of you operating system? In the Search box, type
   winver to get this info.
   
3. What is the Make and the model of the Phone and Computer?
   

If you want to create a Hotspot on your PC, suggest you to refer this article
Use your PC as a mobile hotspot.



As you have mentioned that you want to use Bluetooth to connect to internet, you will need to enable the Bluetooth Tethering option on your phone and then connect the phone through Bluetooth with the PC.
