Windows 10: I cannot watch a movie I bought through Microsoft - Films and TV app is not working

Hello:I cannot watch a movie I bought through Microsoft - Films and TV app is not working, it says it is not available in my location. Is there another way to watch the movie I purchased through Microsoft? Thanks,Jana

Chromecast doesn't work with Windows Films and TV

I recently bought a chromecast and it works with everything expect when I try to play a movie via the film and tv app. It just shows a black screen. Any suggestions?

 

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.

Films & Tv App

Hi Guys

In the Films & Tv app is it possible to get my personal films to arrange by folder rather than all listed by name. I'm sure I had it like that but something has changed and now there all listed on one page sorted by name.

Info - My movies are all stored on an external Hdd in a few different folders not in the default Videos folder
