Windows 10: I can't activate WIn11 after i change HW

Hi, i just changed HW in my computer after long 8 years. That means MB, CPU, RAM and main SSD disc. I made slight changes before like GPU 1 year ago, but nothing more for those years. I have really old Product Key. In fact, i have no idea from which version of Windows it was 7/8, freely upgraded to 10 and 11, but it was not OEM because i had it before that "old" PC. I know that there were no problem with HW change 8 years ago. In that time, i reinstalled Windows a few times, just because or on new HDD/SSD so i know that there is no problem with my Product Key, but with this huge HW change.

Windows activation fails after HW change

I changed my CPU and Motherboard and when I try to activate Windows with my Product Key it fails with error code: 0x803fa060.

I can't find this error on the Microsoft help page that lists the possible activation errors.

I didn't link my Microsoft account to the product key before changing HW.

The troubleshooter also fails activation.

 

Windows 10 digital license re-activation after HW change

Hi guys

I have a digital license of Windows 10, and needed to change the motherboard.

I linked my digital license to my Microsoft account, swapped the HW, booted my PC, and tried to re-activate Windows.

Just like it says here Reactivating Windows after a hardware change (microsoft.com)

Troubleshooting step ended up with the following:

That's the first time I change HW, and trying to re-activate my digital license.

What happened? How can I activate Windows then?

winows 10 activation after re-install/hw change

I have an activated version of win10 and had to change the harddrive, now when i reinstall it will not activate. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps with no luck. Re-installing again and praying. The machine shows up on my list of machines
in my microsoft account. What can I do to activate this again??
