Windows 10: I can't activate Windows 11 from new built pc.

Recently, I have built a new pc and decided to use Windows 11 as the OS. Now I tried to reactivate windows 11 via the "I changed hardware via on this device recently" at the troubleshoot settings, but my new pc won't appear as a selectable device for windows reactivation. Only my old pc appears, which has windows 10, but I've heard that you could update windows 10 into 11, so I think the problem might be something else, or not. I have already linked both of my pcs into my administrator account, but still only my old pc appears. Please let me know if there is a solution to this problem. Thank y

Issues with activating a new PC with digital licence tied to an account (Windows 11)

I've recently built a new PC without an OS and installed Windows 11 on it. Upon setting it up, I signed in with the same account as I was signed in with my old PC, which was also running Windows 11 Pro. Windows on the new PC, however, doesn't seem to be activated - I already tried running Activation Troubleshooter many times, and I also Reseted my old PC. When I use Activation Troubleshooter and use "I recently changed hardware on this device" my new PC is not on the list - I see my old PC and laptop, but the new device doesn't appear on the list.

I was also considering contacting Microsoft Support, but unfortunately they only offer phone calls and the moment.

Activation of Windows 10 on new PC

I've recently built a new computer and am trying to activate Windows 10 on it. I have a digital licence that's tied to my Microsoft account, but when I try to go through the activation steps via the "My hardware recently changed" option, it doesn't show
my new computer on the list, though it does show the old one I'm trying to transfer the licence from. I have signed in on both with the same Microsoft account, and both are listed as devices connected to my account. I've tried signing out of my Microsoft account
and back in on both of them, to no effect. It was a free upgrade from Windows 7, but I made sure to activate it to tie it to my account.

 

I built a new computer running windows 11 home. Can I transfer my product key from my old windows 10 Pro?

How can I transfer my license to my new PC? I have verified it's a retail copy but I can't activate the product key and the upgrading hardware step doesn't list my new PC.

Do I need Windows 11 Pro or should the 10 Pro key automatically upgrade me?

How do I do this?
