    I can’t authorise my child’s new Microsoft account


    Today is my son’s 10th birthday and his present was a laptop. We sat it up with a child’s Microsoft account but can go no further because it needs authorising by an adult. I can receive the authorisation link but when I click on it it says there’s a problem and says ‘give us a little while to fix it’. On the Microsoft Family app I can see his account under ‘Pending’ but get the same error message if I try to authorise it. Have been trying for hours, have tried Safari, Chrome & Edge with no joy. Have just spent 30 mins on the live chat with Microsoft Support who couldn’t solve it and told m
