  1. I can't auto connect to my internet every restart even if I found a way to fix access point...

So one day I tried restarting my modem then all of a sudden my laptop lost it's automatic connection to the modem.

I found a fix on the internet where I should go to cmd and type "netsh winsock reset, ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew".

It helped fix it temporarily. However everytime I reset the modem or my laptop it won't autoconnect even if it is wired/wireless.

So I have to type the words back cmd.

How can I get a fix on permanent auto connect?

Maybe there was something about me pressing "No" at the part when a large blue screen part at the right side asking for Internet Network something.

    :)

  2. Configure Wireless Access Point

I have an existing network using a Buffalo N300 wireless router configured as 192.168.11 and 255.255.255

I have recently purchased a Sony Bravia TV with internet capability and would like to connect a second router – the Belkin F5D-8233 – as an access point for the TV. As I already have the router, it is cheaper than me purchasing the Sony wireless dongle.

Essentially, the Buffalo is connected to my PC in one room and provides the internet access. The Belkin would be in another room, connected via Ethernet to the TV.

I have set the Belkin up to use 192.168.11.10 with the same SSID and security settings as the Buffalo. I have also set it up as an Access point.

I have connected the Belkin and the Buffalo together via the Ethernet LAN ports to try and do an initial configuration but I cannot see the Belkin when I do this even though the LAN ports light up.

Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to configure the Belkin so that it gets internet access wirelessly in the other room?

I have been able to confure the TV so that it sees and connects to the Belkin but obviously this is of little use unless it can connect to the internet through that connection.

    Thanks, any help appreciated.

  3. E72 WLAN internet access point glitch

Another suggestion, should it be averything ok in the internet destination: delete your wi-fi access from the list of the connections

Then go in the "internet " destination group and select from the options "new connection" . Chose WI-Fi connection, when shown, and as the phone lists your wi-fi, chose it, type password and let the phone test for the internet connections. Then the new
connection should be put by default 1st choice (so you should have wi-fi as 1st, WEB network access point 2nd) or, if not, put you manually

Then, sure to have set internet group as default, try again if under wi-fi reach it is used (or shown) as first choice

at&t mms access point for internet data

i'm using a Nokia E66, american 3G version, with at&t wireless as my service provider

after using the setup wizard on the phone, the phone sets up access points for data transfer on the at&t network.

i choose not to have an unlimited data plan, but i do have unlimeted sms and mms.

to avoid using any pay per use data transfer, i've deleted all access points except at&t mms, and wlan.

i've recently noticed that when nokia web browser, nokia maps, google maps, gmail app, are connecting to the internet if i select at&t mms as the access point to use, they are all able to connect to the internet, and function normally. i haven't tested other
    apps on my phone yet.

my question is, will at&t realize that the data being transferred aren't actual mms messages being sent back and forth? and then charge me for pay per use data transfer? or could this be a little loophole for data transfer?
