    I can't believe this is still the case 8 years after this post. Desktop win 11 clean...


    I tried the old fixes. My files do not show on the desktop until I hit f5 and never appear even after browsing around file explorer and seeing them. "Reset folder status under view options. C:\Users\user\OneDrive\DesktopI did disable online synchs. I just kind of want to see my files I am working on on my desktop and not have to create a folder to be able to see them, get it , files on a desktop, kind of basic here.Just crazy, Win 10 did the exact same thing for me.     I just guessed that a 240mm cooler would fit your case. The model number or a pic of your case would help.
