    I can't boot into my laptop. BOOTMGR is missing


    Model: HP EliteBook 840 G4 Windows 11Whenever I press the power button, HP logo comes up then. I get 'Entering Network Boot' on the bottom left of the screen. Then the following:Initializing and establising link...PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cablePXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot AgentBOOTMGR is missingPress Ctrl+Alt+Del to restartI have tried to enter startup menu. I get the text 'Entering Startup Menu' by pressing Esc key repeatedly, but again back to these texts.

    BOOTMGR missing???

    yes it says the the BOOTMGR is missing when it goes to the boot screen and yes everything is set in the bios to boot from cd/dvd

    BOOTMGR is missing.......

    BOOTMGR is missing... I attempted to install Windows Vista and Windows Vista had an error occur and could not install... I waited 30 mins for it to exit the install but it never did... Consequently, I restarted the computer...

    Ever since then I get this message...

    "BOOTMGR is missing..."

    "Press CTRL+ALT+DLT to restart."

    Everytime I do nothing happens... Same message.

    What do I do?? *Confused I can't boot into my laptop. BOOTMGR is missing :confused:
