Windows 10: I can't change my username properly. Is this a bug or...?

Used English in hope for a faster response, sorry.I can't change my username properly in Windows 11. When I enter control panel and change username from there, it works and doesn't work simultaneously. When I enter C:/Users/, there's still my very first username in Cyrillic, which causes issues in a game. Audio doesn't load because of the Cyrillic username... That's why I want to switch to English Ok, so username is in Russian, but when I enter the folder, in a search panel, my CHANGED/NEW Eng username appears. That's why I said it's both in Russian and English, seems to be corrupted??

Are you logged in with the Microsoft account or a local account?

You can follow the steps below to change the username and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X key.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Under view, select large icons.
• Go to User Account.
• Click on Manage another account.
• Select the User Account for which you want to select the password.
• Click on Change the username.
• Click on Change Name button.
