Windows 10: I can't change the fit of the background pictures for each desktop

Hi,I encountered an issue when I personalise the background on three desktops on my newly bought laptop.I can change the pictures for each desktop, however, the fit i.e. fill, centre, fit of the pictures sycns together, leading to a situation that I cannot personalise them seperately some pictures has to be centred while some might need to be filled to whole screen.My family member is able to do such change on his windows laptop.I also created an new account on my laptop to test. It is still the same.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Open Desktop Background by right clicking on the desktop clicking Personalization
  
• 
  Click the picture or color that you want to use for your desktop background.
  
• 
  If the picture you want to use isn't in the list of desktop background pictures, click an item in the Picture location list to see other categories, or click Browse to search for the picture on your computer.
  When you find the picture that you want, double-click it. It will become your desktop background.

• Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to desktop background image or lock screen image?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the background picture and check if it helps.

• In the search type as ‘Settings’ and click on it.
• Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
• Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

Cannot changes settings for desktop background picture.

Windows 10 has decided it wants to "stretch" my desktop background picture and won't recognize my trying to change to "fit" or "center," etc. Anybody know why this might be?
