Can't Change Microphone Default Sample Rate

I just reinstalled Windows 10 YESTERDAY and haven't even finished installing the software I use and I'm running into problems. I need to have control over my sound settings and I can't change my microphone rate, it's grayed out. See photo attachments. I have uninstalled everything audio in the device manager, downloaded the most up to date drivers from Acer, installed those and rebooted. Nothing I do is working. I freakin' hate Windows... but it's a necessary evil.

    Suggestions?
    Windows 10 Home 64
    Acer Aspire E 15

Why is the sample rate grayed out for my Sony headphones on the Windows 10 Sound Control Panel?

Since the last major Windows 10 update, and maybe as far back as the Creator’s update, the music played by my iTunes app is distorted. It's worst when using the Sony WH-CH700N headphones I have. It used to be the sound was never better than when using the
    headphones.

Another website I checked out (https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/ar...-Updating-to-Windows-10-Fall-Creators-Update-) said distortion is usually because the Windows hardware
sample rate does not match the WDM sample rate, and that since the Creator’s Update, the ability to change the sample rate to match the mp3s & etc. played by iTunes has been grayed out. They also said the Windows setting can only be updated using Windows Sound
    controls.

99% of my music was recorded at a sample rate of 44,100 khz. 16 bit or 24 bit, I don’t know, but likely 16 bit since most of it was copied from CDs.

The value in the grayed-out field for the headphones is 1 channel, 16 bit, 16,000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality.)

The standard for the speakers is 24 bit, 48,000 Hz (Studio Quality).

Sadly, the fix they suggested at the UAudio website did not work for my headphones. The music remains scratchy and irritating.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

I need to be able to change the Sample Rate and Bit Rate in Sound Setting

I need to be able to change the Sample Rate and Bit Rate in Sound Setting so here is my situation as I know most people ask for it. I am on an Asus Q304UA and I am on Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 OS Version:10.0.19041 N/A Build 19041. And I need to able to
change the sample rate and bit rate. I am using an Audio Device Called the Avantree DG60, this is an audio device only for headphones that allows Bluetooth 5.0 connections via aptX HD and it is plugged in by USB and it acts as a speaker system. I have a pair
of Sony Hear on 3 which are Hi-Res certified and I need to able to change the bit rate and sample rate. It is stuck at 48K and 16bits. If anyone knows how to help me please help me so as I am desperate to find the fix.

    Best regards
