Windows 10: I can't change the timezone on my daughters computer

I have gone in on her profile and marked her timezone but I cannot get to change on her computer says ask the administrator. How can I fix this?

For us to properly isolate the issue with changing the timezone, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• What is the exact error message that you are getting?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As an initial resolution, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• In the search box, type in cmd. You'll see Command Prompt listed.
  Right-click and select Run as Administrator.
• Type tzutil /l to see the list of all time zones.
• Once you have found your time zone, copy the description that is on the second line. Example:
  
  (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
  
  Central Standard Time <---- copy
  
• Afterwards, type tzutil /s "paste the time zone here". Like this:
  
  tzutil /s "Central Standard Time" (make sure to include the quotations!); then, Enter.
  
• Exit the Command Prompt, and then go to your time settings.

Try changing the Timezone to a different zone then go back to your timezone to see if it works.

I changed the reg and now as admin I cannot change the time /timezone anymore

Hello, everyone

this is a pathethic help request. I bought my daughter a laptop 2 Christmas ago and used the parental control on it. As she was older (15), she started to change the local time to prevent the computer to close down at night. My response was to go to the
internet, google how to prevent Admins to change time settings, implement the search result (in the reg, although I usually don't touch it ) and promptly forget what I did.

Now she is travelling a lot, between 3 timezones and it turns out that neither the time nor the timezone is changing at all. I cannot change it manually, even as admin , and I cannot remember what I did to the reg to change it back.

Do you happen to know the standard registry entries regarding time changing and admins that I might have changed?

Do you have any suggestion at all?

She's going back next Saturday, so any help soon would be much appreciated.
