Windows 10: I can't choose another file type to download an image

So I saw this problem being addressed before too, but that was like way before so I need an updated solution on this. I wanted to download a photo not as a JPEG file, but as a PNG file and the option just doesn't show up. I've tried the "Choose default app by file type" option too. Nothing works. Urgently need a solution for this. Thank you!

file type is not included in the list of types to choose from to associate a file with

in "Choose default apps by file type" in Windows 10, there are two file types that are not listed; how do I add a file type to the list so that I can associate that file type with a file. For example, I often receive a file that has a file type of .stmt
and another fle with a file with the name viewdoc.file. They are both PDF files. But neither of these file types are available for me to choose from in the default list. How do I add them?

Enabling view hidden folders/files option is the initial step that you can do to view those missing files. Since you've already tried that step, we suggest changing some settings in the
Folder Options. Follow the steps listed to make changes in viewing your folders:

• Type This PC in the Search bar then hit
  Enter.
• Double-click Desktop then click the View option on top.
• Go to the Options tab then click the drop-down button and choose
  Change folder and search options.

Applications need to be installed before you can set them as default. We suggest following the steps below for you to change the default apps in Windows 10:

• Open Settings.
• Choose Apps.
• Under Apps & features, click on Default apps.
• Select which default you want to set, and then choose the app. (You can also get new apps in Microsoft Store.)

If you want to choose default apps by file type (for example, .pdf files), here are the steps on how to do it:

• Open Settings.
• Choose Apps.
• Under Apps & features, click on Default apps.
• Under Choose default apps (at the bottom), click on
  Choose default apps by file type and look for the type of file that you want to change.
