Windows 10: I CAN'T CLICK ANYTHING ON MY LAPTOP (taskbar, windows, etc.)

I've had this problem for a few days now, but 24 hours ago it got worse

The touchpad of my laptop has a few bugs, and this one was right click only several times, I started using a mouse and the problem improved, but yesterday I had a big bug: sometimes I can not click on the taskbar or certain windows, it seems frozen

The workaround is by pressing ctrl + alt + del, but after a short time it returns to freeze

I tried many possible solutions before publishing here:

1- Run SFC /scannow and then run this command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

2- Scan if i have viruses, found 2 (they were triggers), but I deleted them

3- Uninstalling the NVIDIA driver

4- Uninstalling the Dell Touchpad driver

5- Start in safe mode (here even the touchpad itself worked me correctly, but after a few minutes failed again)

I don't know what to do anymore, many of the forums where I found these solutions range from 2009 - 2016

Does anyone know any permanent solution to this problem?

I CAN'T CLICK ANYTHING ON MY TASKBAR. PLS HELP!

Hey pals, uh I can't seem to get anything on the bottom taskbar to open right with one simple click. I upgraded to Windows 10 not too long ago (first week it was out), it was working fine for a while, but now I can't seem to click anything on the bottom
bar, wi-fi, battery, action center, volume mixer, the start bar or search anything.

I can right-click and open certain things like volume mixer, and power options, and I can open pinned stuff like Chrome and File Explorer (which has a laggy start-up), but that's about it. How do I fix this? Please help.

Some other small details:

• ASUS Laptop (forget which model)
• I believe I'm running the 64 bit version of Windows
• I run Bitdefender as my Virus Protection Software (which also hasn't been working lately)

Feel free to ask any questions that could help assist you in diagnosing my problem. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

 

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
What do you think?

To diagnose the issue, I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if the issue persists.

Method 1:

Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow

If the issue still exists, try the next method.

Method 2:

You may check the same issue with the new user account.

Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• Select Add an Account.
• Enter a user name and hit Next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
• Check if issue persists.
