Windows 10: I can't connect my xbox controller via blue tooth or usb to my alienware laptop, it says...

As I said I have a Alienware laptop its about 6 months old. I've tried to connect 3 different controllers via bluetooth and usb. Neither way works they won't connect. In the device manager they have a little yellow caution sign by the xbox controller, I've uninstalled them and they come back like that again. I also tried uninstalling the universal bus. Any help would be appreciate it!

Xbox Elite controller cannot connect on Windows 10 (bluetooth)

I'm not able to connect my XBox Elite Controller to Windows 10 through blue tooth.

There is no problem with the regular Xbox controller, it finds and pairs immediately.

The controller is updated.

I have tried all the steps / suggestions I can find - but the controller still does not show in blue tooth. (I tried 'show invisible' in device manager, but it doesn't show there).

Of course the controller works, no problem paring on my xbox.

Any suggestions what to try next ?

 

Xbox controller blue-tooth

Whenever I go into my settings to connect my xbox one controller, I click on the blue-tooth thing, then go to the part where it scans for your controller (I don't use an adapter). I've connected one of my controllers before, but now, even with a brand
new controller, when I go to the part to scan, a controller pops up, and says input on the top part of the name, and input on the bottom part of the name. If I click it, it just tries to connect for a minute or two, and says it didn't receive a response. My
other controller was recently connected wirelessly(a few days ago), and now it won't connect. After it stopped connecting the first time, i just used a USB cord, then someday, it was just able to connect when I decided to try.I don't want to wait for a long
time then just have it be able to connect the next time I wanna try.

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
