Windows 10: i cant connect to shared folders on my network from new win 11 pc.

i have new win 11 computer that i im trying to connect to som shared folders in my network that my old pc was connected to.i know the user name and password are correct.I see the computers in the explorer network.whe i try to login i get \\XXXX is not availebele.i can connetct to the share form another computer so the issue is on my new computer.in trying to connect to a truenas and a win 11 computer. the sale fault on both.i am on the same workgroup.

Win 11 connecting to network shared printer

Trying to add a network shared printer to a Win 11 home laptop. The printer is connected via usb on a Win 10 pro pc & is shared & accessible to the homegroup network. The Win 11 laptop gives a 0x00000709 error when I try to connect through file explorer. The laptop can access other shared files on the pc. All network sharing options are correct.

How to fix Network in WINS 11 to share files and folders?

I have 3 desktops with WINS 11 and 1 with WINS 10. All are connected to Network via Ethernet. Only the WINS 10 desktop is able to share files with the 3 WINS 11 desktops. All desktops have the same setting for the advanced sharing settings and media streaming in the Network & Sharing Center. The targeted folders and drives have been enabled to share (Sharing Tab) with full permissions for all users, administrators (me), everyone, and owner (me) using the Security tab. I have given access to everyone for the files and folders. I still receive the error message "permission denied". There is also the error message "You do not have permission to access \\desktop IP address. Contact your network administrator to request access". I have run the network troubleshooter on the WINS 11 desktops. I have done everything that Microsoft support suggests and beyond. Still, only the WINS 10 desktop shares with the WINS 11 desktop but they do not share among themselves. Can anyone advise what to do or is this a problem known to Microsoft but not "fixable"?
