I cant connect to wifi because i dont have a updated driver and i cant update the driver because i dont have wifi i have a notebook windows 11 i cant do anything on my computer because i dont have internet please help

Driver update software

Windows Update should have a considerable amount of good drivers. They'll be listed under the "Optional Updates" section. That should give you rather good functionality right off the bat. If it's a branded PC, latest drivers will likely have to come from the manufacturer's website. For the most part, built-in drivers should be Good Enough™

I don't think I've run across an automagic driver installer that wasn't loaded with malware.

 

Driver Updates

if its not broke dont fix it is best policy. if you insist on driver updates, look at all the ones youve installed in the past and see if there are updates for them, install those first, install Latest Direct X Library, then Install the video driver

 

Update drivers or not?

if your system is working, you do not need to update.

microsoft changed how some drivers worked between when XP launched, and the service packs - it all depends on how old your driver CD is.

An old driver CD wont come with drivers for a newer OS, therefore making them useless as new OS's come out.

if everything works, dont update - if things dont work, update
