Windows 10: I can't connect to wifi, missing properties in network adapter

Hello Before, my laptop worked perfectly well, able to connect any of the 2.4GHz or 5GHz wifi. These past few weeks my laptop seems not to be able to detect the 5GHz wifi though it is still present in my known networks. I know there is nothing wrong with the router as the 5GHz connection appears in other laptops and PCs. It puzzled me even more when 5GHz wifi from my neighbor can be detected in the wifi bar but mine is not. Then what worse is I can't connect to the 2.4GHz wifi either though it appears in the wifi bar. Every time I tried to connect and enter password, "Can't connect to this ne

Missing field Connect using in Local Area Connection Properties

Have you tried uninstalling the Network Adapter? Since there is no properties in the Local Area Connection, we suggest that you uninstall the Network Adapter. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows Key + R.
• Type devmgmt.msc.
• Right click on the Network Adapter.
• Select Uninstall.
• Select Ok.
• Select Scan for Hardware changes.

Update us on the results.

 

WiFi Adapter question

To be honest, I keep losing my wifi connection and Im almost positive its not due to my internet connection or Router or anything like that. VERY often, everyday, all day it keeps happening. The troubleshooter always resolves it by "reset wifi-adapter" (I believe this is the step it takes that resolves the problem) before it happens again anyways. Its driving me nuts ! Most time when it suddenly goes out (the connection) all the networks that should be in "show available networks" or all but the one I was connected to, disappear. I run the troubleshooter and it ends in resetting the wifi adapter. And it works. 10 minutes later, it happens again. Im trying to pin down the problem here. Thank you for your help.

 

'Network Address' property not displaying for wireless adapter

If you go to the "Device Manager" control panel window, and open the 'Network Adapters' drop down, there is a list of different Network Adapters. My goal was to change the MAC address on my wireless adapter that I use to connect to the wifi. You can do
this by displaying the properties of a network adapter in the list. When I open up the 'advanced' tab in the properties window, only 4 properties show up, none of which allow me to change my mac address, however I am able to change my mac address of the computer
itself, but this does nothing.
