Windows 10: I can't delete a folder because it can't be found.

Discus and support I can't delete a folder because it can't be found. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a Lenovo laptop with "Mycroft Windows 11 Home" OS.I created a folder called xyz with some files in it, and then another one called xyz. same...     I can't delete a folder because it can't be found.


    I have a Lenovo laptop with "Mycroft Windows 11 Home" OS.I created a folder called xyz with some files in it, and then another one called xyz. same name with a dot at the end with different files in it. They were supposed to be separate, but opening either of them lead to the same contents as the first folder xyz and the contents of the second folder xyz. are completely gone. Trying to pin either of them to Quick Access would only pin the first one. I think it recognized them both as the same folder.I made a copy of the first folder now called xyz - Copy and then deleted the original

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused I can't delete a folder because it can't be found. :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well I can't delete a folder because it can't be found. :eek:hwell:

    Hidden folders

    I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

    When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

    I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    I used the old Alt+255 trick on a folder so that it had no name, but now that I want to delete it, and there's nothing in it, it WILL NOT LET ME DELETE IT. Why? *Bang Head :banghead: (I'm on Vista by the way)
