Windows 10: I can't do a backup of myfiles to a portable drive because I have one One Drive but don't...

I backed up some files to One Drive about a year ago but preferred to back up important docs, pictures and other stuff to a thumb drive every couple of months. I also have some data from my old PC that is on this PC that I wish to backup. I have a portable 1TB hard drive to use and although it is visible as a portable drive in file exploer I can't find a way to back up to it. I could always do this in Windows 10 but a lot of the choices I had then seem to be invisible in Windows 11. It seems to be stuck on One Drive. Please show me how to do this backup. Nice, no answers what so ever... still can`t open new notifications, still right-click don`t work on taskbar... and still no answer as to why

 

Hard drive test completed, but with read failure.

I’ve been backing up to an external drive. I don’t know when it will fail. Hopefully not until my replacement drive comes.

I also tryed safe mode, it still didn`t work on it. and Glucofacts Deluxe STILL does not work, so... you say that you don`t know how it started working on win 10 for you?
