Windows 10: I cant download app from the store it always says pending

Hi guys, Please help. I just bought a PC Core i7 and Windows 10. When I download apps in the Windows Store it always says pending. I started downloading Age of Empires II Definitive edition day before yesterday. Everything was fine for 13,.. mb and stuck after. It keeps on saying pending and no progress. I kept it on download the whole night thinking its a temporary problem on my network but nothing changed, my network worked fine. Then I tried cancelling it but it wont even cancel, it starts back right at that point on its own.I've followed about three different guides on how to fix this:http

App downloads pending

So go to the Store and click the ellipsis (...) in the lower right. Click on downloads. On the download page, any app that is listed as "pending" long press on it and cancel the download.

Now you should be able to go back and download an app.

 

Microsoft store downloads and updates stuck on pending

Hi, thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I tried all these steps and it hasn't solved the issue. After restarting I checked back on the apps in Microsoft store and it still says pending. I've waited about 20 minutes and there's no progress, just says pending.

 

Store apps will not download or update

Yet again I am unable to download or update apps from the Store. I now have fourteen pending or otherwise stuck. In the past I have solved this by turning the Windows Firewall (managed by Norton) back on temporarily but this time it is already on. I have tried resetting the Store cache and other fixes but nothing works. sfc and DISM have been run.

Suggestions please?
