It all started when I wanted to purchase something on steam, so I tried entering the store and buying it, but it would not accept the credit card even though I am sure it was right information I had been having problems with my steam store recently but this time I was able to access the checkout page. the only problem is as mentioned before it would not accept the card. after determining it was a problem on my end, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app, so I removed from my computer using the add and remove apps feature on windows 11.That done I went to the internet to redownload but no

Method 1: I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Steam, if you have downloaded files and check if it helps:

To uninstall or change a program:

• Open Programs and Features by pressing
  Windows key + X, clicking Control Panel, clicking
  Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
  
• Select a program, and then click
  Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it, but many simply offer the option to uninstall. To change a program, click
  Change or Repair. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  

Method 2: Run the launcher as administrator from the stream games folder.

a) Right click on Steam

b) On context menu, click “Run as Administrator”.

Method 3:

I would suggest you to download the latest graphics card drivers from the manufacturer website. You may also try installing the game in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the game software in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

1. Right-click on the game setup file and click on
‘properties’

2. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Issues in launching Steam games after the Windows 10, version 1703 update may occur if Game Mode is disabled or the game components are corrupted.

To resolve your concern, we recommend that you manually enable Game Mode by following the steps below:

• Press the Windows key + G on your keyboard.
• Select Settings in the Game bar.
• In the General tab, select the check box for
  Game Mode.
