Windows 10: I can't download Xbox Insider Hub. Error Code: 0x80070005

I downloaded the original Xbox Insider Hub to try out the Minecraft RTX Beta. I stopped playing Bedrock for a while and ended up upgrading to Windows 11. When I tried to play Bedrock again, it was still in the Beta. I then went to the Insider Hub app, only to find out they made a new one. When I tried to download the new app and a few other apps, I got the error code 0x80070005 right after "Acquiring License". I am now unable to change back to the normal version, and I need help.

Cannot re-download Xbox Insider Hub on Windows 10

Hi again,

Finally I was able to reinstall the Microsoft Store App on my computer , which allowed me to install the Xbox Insider Hub App.

But I cannot sign in to the Xbox Insider Hub. Whenever I click on "Sign In" , I get this message:

"There's a problem

Access is denied. (Excemption from HRESULT: (0x80070005) (0x80070005)"

Any idea how I can get access to Xbox Insider Hub? I have googled the error code and tried several suggestions, but none worked.

That didn't work either. There is nothing that says missing component. Only "There's a problem Access is denied. (exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005)(0x80070005)"

I also installed the xbox insider beta app. However, I can't use it either. "The new xbox insider hub app (codename Rushmore) is not yet available for testing on windows 10. Please continue to use the current Xbox insider hub app for getting early access
to pc games and alpha/beta experiences on windows 10."

 

Xbox Insider Hub does not appear in the Microsoft Store

1. Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
   
2. Have you signed in using the Microsoft account?
   
3. Are you able to search for other apps on the Microsoft Store?
   

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps.

Step 1: Suggest you to run the apps troubleshooter to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.

Step 2: You can also try to manually
download the Xbox Insider Hub from the link.
