    I can't figure out why my computer keeps crashing.


    I recently upgraded some partsCPU, MOBO, and RAM for my computer. Originally I had:MOBO: GIGABYTE X470 AORUS GAMING 5 WIFICPU: Ryzen 7 2700xRAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB2X8GB @ 3200MHz CMK16GX4M2B320016WGPU: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX™ 3080 OC Edition 12GBStorage: Seagate IronWolf 4TB, Internal, 5400 RPM, 3.5 in ST4000VN006 Hard DriveSamsung 860 EVO 500GB SSDPC 601 NVMe SK hynix 512GBPSU: EVGA 850 G3and an El Gato HD60 Pro capture card.I shut down that build and changed out the parts to My Current Build:MOBO: MSI Pro B650-P WifiCPU: Ryzen 5 7600 RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5

    Windows 10 keeps crashing

    Hi,

    There are many possible reasons why the computer will keeps on crashing. One of which is missing or corrupted system files. For us to further isolate the issue, we suggest answering the following questions:

    • What exactly are you accessing/doing when the computer crashes?
    • Were you still able to login to the computer after it happens?
    • Can you send us a screenshot of the error messages or mini dump that you've received?

    In the meantime, if you're seeing a blue screen when the computer crashes, we suggest following the steps on this article:
    Troubleshoot blue screen errors. Kindly choose the appropriate answer to the category
    "When did you get the error?".

    Computer keeps crashing

    when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
