Windows 10: i cant find my printer on device manager but i can find it on word. I wanna share the...

I try to connect my printer to my pc using usb,but it wont appear i already re-add the printer,reinstall the driver,restart the print spooler but i didn't work, But when i open microsoft word or any other app it detect the printer,and i still can print trough it. I wanna share the printer to the network. Do anyone have solution for this?

Please follow these steps to help you resolve your concern:

Troubleshoot the Word app.

1. Open the Word app in safe mode. Starting Word in safe mode can allow you to safely use it when it has encountered certain problems. Press Windows key + R and type this command: word /safe, and click OK.
2. Follow the steps on the Repair an Office application article. It can automatically repair errors in
   Word files.
3. Update the Word app. Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now. Installing any important recommendation and optimal updates can often correct problems by replacing out-of-date files and fixing vulnerabilities.
4. Uninstall and reinstall the app. You may refer to this
   link.

Troubleshoot the printer.

1. Run the Printer troubleshooter. Open settings> Troubleshoot> Printer> Run the troubleshooter> Restart the device.
2. Update the printer driver. Select Device Manager. Expand Printers,
   find your printer in the list, right-click (or press and hold) it, then select Update Driver.

Same printer listed twice in Word, and only second one in Devices & Printers

After recently doing a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro, build 16299, I see that my printer is listed twice in Word's list of available printers:

HP Desk Jet 930C/932C/935C

and

HP Desk Jet 930C/932C/935C (Copy 1)

Only the latter actually works from within Word as a printer.

And in the Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers, only the latter is listed.

I tried renaming it by removing (Copy 1) from its name, but was told there was another printer with that name, so I couldn't.

In Device Manager, on the other hand, only HP Desk Jet 930C/932C/935C is listed.

So how do I get rid of

HP Desk Jet 930C/932C/935C (Copy 1)

and give performance rights to HP Desk Jet 930C/932C/935C?

any suggestions much appreciated.

Printer Sharing

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps

Computer you are sharing from

1. Type "Device and Printers" in the web and windows box

2. Find your printer

3. Right click on the printer

4. Select “Printer properties"

5. Click on the sharing tab

6. Check "sharing this printer"

7. Give the printer a Name

8. Click apply

Computer you are trying to share to:

1. Type "Device and Printers" in the web and windows box

2. Check for printer the devices and printers.

3. if it is not there click "add printer"

4. If the printer does not show up click “The printer that i wanted wasn't list"
