I deleted the screenshots folder that was on the laptop. I've tried making a new normal folder and naming it Screenshots, but my screenshots aren't showing up on it so I'm assuming it didn't work.

  2. Snipping Tool/Screenshots blurry

Yes, I've tried this, and it's a bit better than saving directly from the snipping tool but the resulting PNG is still not as clear as the original screenshot looks when I paste it in paint.

    Snipping Tool Question

Hello all. I am using the Snipping Tool app for the first time to take screenshots. I really like it (I used to do PrtSc and then paste into Paint). But I have one question. Is there a way to add a border around the screenshot in the Snipping Tool?
That can be done in Paint using a rectangle with color, but I see no way to do it in the Snipping Tool.

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help with this. And FYI, I tried the Windows Key+Shift+S thingy and that doesn't even give you the option to save the screenshot as a .jpg. It just adds it to the clipboard.

    Snipping Tool

The Snipping tool is still in there.

    Open Start

Scroll down to 'W', expand Windows Accessories

    Click Snipping Tool

Recent versions of Windows 10 also include a new way to capture screenshots.

    Press Windows key + Shift + S

Use the mouse pointer to make a selection.

    Open Paint, then click Paste.

    Save your screenshot.
