Windows 10: I can't find "Speakers 7.1 surround sound" in my audio inputs and outputs after trouble...

Ok so, I recently bought a Razer headset and tried out 7.1 surround sound after setting the application, I activated 7.1 surround sound and I realised it was static and there was no audio, I went to troubleshoot it but it removed "Speakers 7.1 surround sound" from the audio inputs and outputs devices thinking it was the cause of the loss of audio and static, I then realised it was a simple fix and all I had to do was switch something but it was too late, I tried to uninstall the "7.1 surround sound" app but it still didn't reinstall the "Speakers 7.1 surround sound", all I am trying to do

Windows 10 audio stutters regardless of driver or output used, more noticeable on the toslink and surround sound.

• What device are you using? A laptop or a computer?
• Its a desktop, i listed the components in the original post.
• Do you have an external speaker?From which device does the sound come out from? From the TV or from the device?
• I listed the outputs in the original post. The issue exists on all outputs and exists on the tv speakers, surround sound speakers, and headset.
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• I have listed the troubleshooting steps that i can remember in the original post.

 

No Audio Input or Output Devices found

After latest windows 10 update no audio devices are listed/

Looking in device manager - the audio devices all say working OK

But on bar at bottem of screen get speaker with red cross -- Playing audio - Audio trouble shouter cannot find any problems ..

Sound settings say - No output or Input devices found.

Have tried to re-install Realtek audio drivers for motherboard -- installed but no change

 

Problem with 5.1 surround sound

The sound card must support the output 5.1 audio from the PC. Follow the steps below to check if your sound card support output 5.1 surround signal.

1. Locate the Volume icon in the bottom right corner and right click on it

2. Select Sounds and open the sound Properties window

3. Move to the Playback tab to right click on the 5.1 speakers, then choose Set as Default

4. Right click on the speaker again and choose Configure

5. Select 5.1 surround in the speaker setup window and click on Next

6. Mark all the checkboxes next to optional speakers, then click on Next

7. Mark the checkboxes next to Select full-range speakers if applicable and click on Next

8. Once the configuration completed, click on the Finish and check if you get the desired output audio signal.
