I can't find windows memory test results

Followed instructions to find results in the Event viewer.Searching for "MemoryDiagnostics" a record comes up saying that testing was scheduled to run immediately TRUE!.But no other record is found containing "MemoryDiagnostics". Help file says to search for "MemoryDiagnostics-Results"...and that does not find anything. So, it was scheduled, but did it ever finish running? I saw it running on the computer and progressing, so i know it did start. But i didn't watch for every second, and eventually when i returned to my PC, it had rebooted, so i did not see the diagnostic actually end.So, wher

  2. Memory diagnostic test results not found

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

This is very unusual that you are unable to find the results for Memory Diagnostic test.

Usually, when the memory diagnostic is complete the results will be stored under Event Viewer. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to access Event Viewer logs for Memory Diagnostic.

    1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
    2. In Run dialog box, type eventvwr and hit enter.
    3. Now expand Windows Logs and click on
      System.

You can use the filter or the find option in Event Viewer to check for specific logs. You can try the steps mentioned below to filter memory diagnostic results in Event Viewer.

    1. Right click on System and click on
      Find.
    2. Now type Memory Diagnostic results and click on
      Find Next

This should pull up the results for Memory Diagnostic that you have ran.

Let us know if there are any concerns, we will certainly assist you further.

    results of memory test

    Hi Alangrimshaw,

You can see the results of the Memory Diagnostic tool under
    Event Viewer
    . Here's how:

    • In the Search box, type Event Viewer, select
Event Viewer, and then press Enter.
    • Expand Windows Logs.
    • Click on System, right-click on it, and then select
      Find
      .
    • In the Find window, type MemoryDiagnostics or
MemoryDiagnostics-Results, and then click Find Next.
    • Once done, you may close the Event Viewer.

Give us an update if you are able to find the memory diagnostic logs.

I can't find windows memory test results

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds
