Windows 10: I cant fix the lag and the ping goes over 2k sometimes

Ok so listen my sisters laptop is doing this weird thing as whenever she tries to play a online game or downloaded game it has horrible lag over 1000 sometimes even reaching 2k ping the only exception I've found to this is madness project nexus classic and I've looked at everything and it seems that nothing works what am i doing wrong to the point that it lags this bad every antivirus I've tried says their is nothing wrong with the laptop to the point of this type of lag

I have played many games to try and see if it was the server of a particular game, although, every game I play ends up ping-lagging every two seconds, although my actual ping does not rise and it is relatively low. Please help!

Nay not be a ping lag. It may be the game server itself is lagging.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
