Windows 10: I can't get computer Surface Book 2 audio to work on Android TV TCL

Problem with projecting my Windows 10 Asus laptop to android 55" TCL Roku TV

I'm trying to project my laptop to my Roku tv. I perform the following steps:

1. Connect To Wireless display

2. I see the 55" TCL Roku TV in the device list

3. Click on it to connect.

4. After about 20 seconds of processing, error appears: "Couldn't connect"...

Any ideas ?

Though I'm able to connect same laptop to same TV with HDMI cable.

 

Audio not working on Surface book (Code 10)

I have a surface book and since updating windows the audio does not work. in device manager it says:

Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)

The device cannot start (code 10)

the request is not supported

when I delete the driver and restart the laptop, it doesn't even recognise try and install drivers. I have to go to 'install legacy hardware' to do that.

I have been looking for ages and tried a few things:

• uninstalling sound drivers,
• reinstalling
• disabling, enabling
• installing legacy device, realtek high definition audio
• download new drivers from realtek website
• download latest drivers from microsoft surface
• 2 button shutdown
• many, many restarts
• sfc scan
• restarting windows audio services

please help!

 

How do i use my TCL smart tv as a wireless display in windows 10 via wifi connection?

I have same issue but the above mentioned software does not work as the TV would require an EZcast interface to work. This would mean installing the app receiver/host on your TV in which case, the non-android TCL models cannot. So it presently does not work
on the lower end TCL TVs.
