Windows 10: I can’t get my contacts from outlook to sync to my pc

I keep getting a pop-up on my pc that says my calendar and contacts are not set up. The pop-up is constantly coming up and it prevents me from getting anything done. It is an entire screen that says, Icloud photos>on; Icloud drive>on; passwords and keychain>on; bookmarks>on; calendars and contacts>off, not set up. I am trying to get my contacts to sync from outlook on my pc to icloud on my pc. Outlook and Icloud are both loaded down but I can’t get them to sync. I have tried something called APINation that didn’t work and several other ideas as well, but I can’t get it to work.

Sync Outlook contacts ?

I am doing something similar, but as I set it up a while ago, I may not be any help. I am sharing (and synching) contacts and calendar between my PC (W10, Outlook 2010) and my iPhone. I think its only possible this way as I have (and am using) an outlook.com email address on both devices (along with other non-outlook email addresses). If you are not using an outlook.com (or other microsoft) account, this may be no help. Having connected the outlook.com email account to Outlook 2010 on PC, I find it is using Exchange (without my specifying anything) - this may be the default, or only, option. When I look in contacts, I see both lists for the local PC, and the outlook.com account:

I moved all my contacts from the original _PC list to the .com one, then connected the iPhone up with the outlook.com email, and hey presto! it could see the contacts (and calendar). Presumably, if I were to connect another PC up to that email address (using Outlook) the same thing would happen. If you are using different email addresses on the two laptops, you could add A's account to B, which would enable B to see A's contacts. You just avoid sending anything from B with the A account (I only read my outlook.com account on the PC, and, apart from accidents, don't send from it). I'm sorry I can't be more help, perhaps in a wider context, as I was so surprised my setup worked I never recorded exactly what options I saw when I did it - for example, I have no idea now how to add another contact list to the 4 I have.

 

Outlook Exchange, Gmail account in Outlook, sync contacts possible?

I have Office 365, Outlook on Exchange and within Outlook I also have have 2 Gmail accounts (IMAP).
Currently I am using a 3rd party tool to sync contacts (exporting to and importing from vCards) so as to sync contacts and have them available on smartphone devices.

The vCards method works well, requiring a number of steps though.

It is a (very)long shot, I know, but given the Outlook and Gmail accounts are within the same application, is there no way to automatically sync those details?

My iPhone can't sync the contacts to Mac

have you tried importing the contacts form the phone to google contacts then syncing then exporting them from there to a file on the computer then importing that into the address book
or you can also go through the info page in itunes for your phone and sync contacts from the phone to the computer that way by checking the box that says sync contact to then select address book
