I can't get my new win11 Thinkpad to see/install my brother HL-2270DW printer. Any ideas?

my Brother HL 2270DW is default but status is offline though plugged in and troubleshooter found not problem.

My Brother HL 2270dw is default but persistently "offline status" though the trouble shooter finds nothing wrong. The printer is not accessible to print though our HL 2370 does print for me. This was not a problem until I got my new computer (DELL inspiron15
3000) with windows 10 on it.

Suggestions?

 

Wireless Brother printer will not print

HL-2270DW works fine on old 64-bit Windows 10 PC.

Got new PC. Printer not discovered. But, I can go to Settings->Printers->remove printer, then ->add printer

Then 'the printer than I wanted wasn't listed->bottom radial -add a local printer or network printer->use existing port LPT1->choose printer from list and it lists my model HL-2270DW->use the driver currently installed (and I just reinstalled)->share? =yes->printer
installed, print a test page. In less than .0001 seconds I get:

Brother printer HL-2270DW is in an error state (it is not)

I can go back to my old PC and print fine. I know which network the old PC, new PC and printer are on (the same).

I restarted my router.

I can get ZERO information about the 'error state' - simply tells me it is in an error state and therefore cannot print.

Download the complete driver package from the Brother support site. Uninstall the printer in Device Manager, then reinstall
using the downloaded driver.
