Printer is printing with black background and white font

I have just moved house and just had Windows 10 installed on my computer and have got a secondhand printer, a Xerox DocuPrint M265z connected to my computer and it is printing with a black background and white font. The test print from the printer comes
out normal but printing from the computer comes out with black background and white font. How do I fix this please.

 

Printer is printing white on black

My printer has decided to print a black page with writing and images in white. I am using a B&W cartridge but don't understand why it is printing in negative

 

Printer Won't print black, but prints color

thanks again, but I want it to print , both. I cannot get it to print black when I try to print a label for shipping or when I run a test page. It has a full cartridge

I have tried to follow your above steps BUT I do not have the same screens showing that you do. There is no option to pick colors. I did try to print in black only from the printer settings on the printer, did not print, just a white sheet of paper.
