Windows 10: I can’t get past “repairing disk errors”

I don’t know what happened to this computer but one day it just would not start and I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I literally can’t even get it to the advanced startup like once it finish repairing it restarts and repairs again. And I went to BIOS because I had a bootable USB that had windows 10 in it, and once I set the boot options to boot through the USB i get an error saying “windows failed to start a recent hardware or software change might be the cause”. And I mean I even tried getting to the advanced startup to hard reset the computer but it just says “failed to reset” and I tried it through the command prompt to and it just fails. I went to the System and tested it and everything is running fine. Is my USB corrupted or something? I’m using a HP notebook

The first step worked for me thank you. Windows did the repair and it no longer shows disk errors
