Windows 10: I can't get the Eszett german Letter, on Spanish Laptop Keyboard

Discus and support I can't get the Eszett german Letter, on Spanish Laptop Keyboard in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have a Spanish Keyboard non Extended, without Righ numerical section.     I can't get the Eszett german Letter, on Spanish Laptop Keyboard


    I have a Spanish Keyboard non Extended, without Righ numerical section.

    I need to write the German Eszett Letter 'ß' without Copy & Paste.

    Like indicated with Character Map Alt + 0223 is not working.
    I tested with: AltGr + S, AltGr + B, Alt + 225, Ctrl + Alt + S, Ctrl + Alt + B, Fn + Alt + 225.

    I tested in the same machine booting with CentOS 8 and works perfectly.

    How to accent letters using a Spanish keyboard on Windows 10?

    Hi Sarah,

    I also had the issue of a letter not becoming accented by pressing the right Alt key and a particular letter in Windows 10. While I haven't found a fix for that yet, I discovered that while using the Spanish (Mexico) keyboard, my left bracket key "[" in the
    English (United States) keyboard becomes the accent key in the Spanish (Mexico) one. Hopefully this works on your keyboard as well.

    Hi Raju.123, to type the Spanish accents, you need to use Alt codes on your Keyboard

    For Example tilda N - Ñ is ALT + 165, then release the Alt key
