I can't get the Sound Sentry Ease of Access center feature to work

Windows 10 homeI've turned on the feature, with at different times the options for making the whole desktop flash, and making the active window flash. I've rebooted after making the change. But when a sound plays, nothing flashes.Windows 10 HomeVersion 10.0.19045 Build 19045 System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. 2. turn off ease of access

Hello my name is Bradford and I'm an Independent Advisor for the Microsoft Community and I will try to resolve your problem with disabling ease of access.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. Press "Windows Key + R"

    2. Type "Control Panel"

    3. Then select "Ease of Access Center"

    4. Under the section "Make your computer easier to use" make sure that the first two checkboxes are unchecked.

    5. Then close the window as there is no need to press ok or save to keep the new settings.

This process is how you disable ease of access features beginning by themselves.

After you've completed the above steps please let me know if this achieves the desired effect you wanted.

    Ease Of Access

    Hi Oliver

    Open the old Control Panel

Go to Ease of Access Center, then choose Make the Keyboard Easier to use

Turn on Filter Keys and click Apply

That should cause a click sound when you type

That is about the only option in Windows 10 . . .

I can't get the Sound Sentry Ease of Access center feature to work

    Ticking sound when typing?

    Hi,

The ticking sound is produced as part of the "Filter Keys" feature. You may change its settings in Ease of Access Center. To access this, please follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows Key. Type Ease of Access Center, then select the search result.
    • Under Explore all settings, click Make the keyboard easier to use.
    • Under Make it easier to type, click Set up Filter Keys.
    • Check this thread for the correct settings.

Note: The thread will also apply to Windows 10.
