Windows 10: I can't install any apps on a new computer because I'm not an admin, but it won't let me...

Please help.This is a brand new computer.I'm the only user. Just created. It won't let me install anything unless it's from the Microsoft store.When I try to get off S mode, it says I need to be an admin.If I try ANYTHING, it says I need to be an admin.There is no option to BECOME an admin or to do anything. I'm always blocked. There isn't even a Family and Other Users option or whatever when I go to users, like so many people have said. It just isn't there.What do I do?
