    1. Are you logged in as an administrator?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Start, type Control Panel and press Enter.

    2. Under Programs, click on Uninstall A Program.

    3. Check if AutoCAD is Listed in the list. If listed, then select the application and click on Uninstall.

    4. After the application is uninstalled, try to install it again and check for status.

    Method 1: Compatibility mode

    I would suggest you to install the latest
    AutoCAD LT 2007 from manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

    Follow the steps below on how to install
    AutoCAD LT 2007 in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the AutoCAD LT 2007 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

    5. Let the AutoCAD LT 2007 install and then check the functionality.

    installing the .net frame work on the computer.
