Windows 10: I cant install IJ Scan utility for my Canon printer.

Hello thereDon't know if you know about this problem, but I bought a Canon G3411 for our receptionist. It prints out pictures fine without any problems, but I have to have IJ Scan Utility installed to use scan on it.The problem is that when I try to install IJ Scan Utility I get an error message that says"To install the software, you must be logged in to an administrator account. Click [OK] to cancel the installation. If you are using the CD-ROM, remove it after clicking [OK]. Log in to an administrator account, then install the software"I have tried logging

IJ Scan Utility

I have a Pixma 895, I uninstalled the Canon software, then downloaded and installed the Windows 8 version which gave me the IJ Network Scanning Tool but didn't install the MP Navigator app. I then re-installed the Windows 10 version of the software and
works great. Hope this helps.

Can't get IJ scan utility to work on my Pixma 3550 now I have upgraded to windows 10?

Worked perfectly before on windows 7!

Thank you for including the screen shot of the error. You may try the below suggested steps to fix the issue.

1. Connect the Printer to wireless router.
   
2. Run the printer software from the Canon site to download and the set the printer up on the PC.
   
3. Download the IJ scan Utility and try attempting to scan documents.
   
4. If you still notice the same error, hold down the stop button (Red Button) on the printer for 10 seconds or until the error light goes off and release it.
