Windows 10: I cant install Minecraft on my pc

I own Minecraft windows 10 edition on my Xbox one and I should be able to get the windows 10 edition from the Microsoft on my desktop but it still asks me to purchase it. How can I fix it?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Step 1: Reset the app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.

• Sign in to your Mojang account on this
  link.
• Under Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, select the link to request a code. The Windows 10 Store will open.
  
• You will be able to download the game for free once you redeem the code.
