Windows 10: I can't install or reset my w10 install after my pc gray screened. I can't use cmd sfc nor...

Cheers loves. I was playing Guilty Gear Strive whenever my pc just borked itself. I haven't been able to have any luck trying to fix/reset it. I'm not to burden by losing all my photos, games music etc. bc I backed up those to my K drive. But the issues is I can't do a clean install because my pc is refusing to let me. Is there an way around this that I haven't tried or a granted way. I checked the ram & 4 hours later their fine so my os is the problem.

Update KB4550961 couldn´t be installed

Hi! I´ve tried hard to install KB 4550961 unsuccessfully. Even run this or that in order to correct whatever the problem might be.

However, after restart it appears “Updates couldn’t be installed” on the screen. Running Scannow and Restorehealth as Administrator didn´t
work either.

I´ve also gone step by step thru “Fix Windows Update errors” steps 1 to 5. I´m reluctant to follow Step 6 Reset or Reinstall Windows –
Refresh is not included - because I´m afraid I might loss some stuff important, though I created a restoration point and a USB recovery drive, just in case.

 

Can install Windows, can't install Linux

Weird stuff, don't know how to approach it to be honest.

Month ago I've installed Windows 7 on my PC, no problems at all. Now I wanted to install Linux on top of that. The trick is, no matter what Linux distro I use (tried Ubuntu from DVD, Ubuntu from pendrive, Fedora from DVD, Ubuntu from pendrive), they show a splashscreen, start loading and at some point the screen turns gray with some weird symbols and it crashes. Nothing happens anymore and monitor shows "No signal from video card" message.

Now the interesting part. I press the reset button and it doesn't start at all, BIOS is beeping 2-3 short beeps (hard to tell if it's 2 or 3), then 8 short, then after some delay another short one. Resetting again doesn't help. I have to turn off the PC, then turn it on again.
I have AMI Bios and ami bios beep chart doesn't really help...

Windows 7 DVD starts without any problem :/ I ran a memtest, no problems at all, loaded factory defaults in BIOS, no effect.

Any suggestions what could be the problem?

Windows Installer Issues! Can´t Install Programs on Windows 11.

Did you see my warning under the WIndows Club link in my last post to avoid Restoro which is a PUP? If you'd miss that I wonder what else was missed. Absolute thoroughness is required in these issues, skipping nothing and asking back if you need any help to complete a step. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step, so please do not skip any. If you need help performing any step I will help.

I would uninstall Restoro ASAP and run System File Checker/DISM in WIndows 11:
