Windows 10: I can’t install some of my programs and apps because of permission issues

I just reinstalled windows on my new ssd and i am using my hdd for my extra files and I was able to install everything until i tried to install Adobe XD. I keep on getting error code c191 and it has to do with permissions. I followed the guide on how to fix it and it didn’t work. When i installed minecraft bedrock it worked fine. When i went to install other apps and update windows 10 apps i keep getting the error code 0x80070005. Is there anyway i can fix this without reinstalling windows?

Permission issue

Presumably because TrustedInstaller is the owner (hence you need its permission), suggesting that img3.jpg was installed by Windows at some time.

Presumably that also means it can be uninstalled. How did you get it in the first place? Where is it located?

If you really want to delete it yourself, then taking ownership would seem a logical first step.

 

App Permissions

Some apps require certain permissions to work properly. However, you can change the permissions given to the apps by following the below steps:

1. Click on Start.
   
2. Click on Settings and then click on Privacy.
   
3. Under the App Permissions you can change the permissions which are assigned for the apps.

Folder won't open due to permission issue

I suggest you to sign out from the current account, restart the computer and log in with Administrators account and

check if it helps to resolve the issue.

  Under Group or user names, tap or click your name to see the permissions that you have.
  
  To open a file, you have to have the Read permission. To change the permissions of a file or folder, follow these steps.
  
  Important you must be logged on as an administrator to change permissions on files and folders.
